OT: Austin F1
I went for Formula one at new race track in Austin TX. I was first time in TX and very nice city, a lot music and very good food. The race track is not finished yet, I meant walk paths, parking, transportation but they did a great job to build a race track itself. It was around 130,000 people and Hamilton won everything and got a hat?
So just imagine sound on track I did couple short videos.

Thanks for your videos. Wish I could have been there as well. Glad to see F1 back in the US. Everybody seems to love the new track in Austin. I watched practice, qualifying and the race on Speed in HD. Not the same as being there, I know, but maybe next year? 2012 has been an exciting season. My money is on Vettel to win the Championship. Red Bull won the constructors Championship in Austin. How come Renault engines keep winning F1 championships against Ferrari, MB and BMW (for the time they were still racing)?

Yea, must have been great to be there. And the sounds
I watched the replay race on Speed TV today, and it was cool to see four superstars on the podium at once. Vettel has a healthy lead. Renault has to stay on the map worldwide I guess. It's almost like Peugeot winning LeMans all the time pissing Audi off. They must remain famous globally since they don't sell cars globally. Just a logical guess.

Is that T12? I was at T11 with my 8-yr old son (huge Vettel fan). What an awesome track - great racing, great facility, great fans, F1 has a new home in America. I'll be there every year.

Was a guest of Red Bull for this event. It was animpressive start.
Lot to be done to finish out the facility but they spent the money wisely where it counted. Last edited by Damon54; 12-05-2012 at 03:32 AM. |

I was sitting on T6 I was trying to get T8/T9 just before T11, I think it has best view coming before 180 deg turn and nice view on long straight line.
