Had the aa come out to my house today, I'd just got back from a 250 mile round trip then after the car had stood for half hour tried to start it and it wouldn't this happend two weeks ago after driving for about 1 hour but after 5-6 atempts it started and has been fine until now! The aa checked battery, altinator, and started motor (wouldn't jump start) and now it just won't crank at all! All dash lights are on....there's just nothing at all when I turn the key! Anyway the car is at the garage now, but any suggestions would be great, thanks in advance[/QUOTE]

How old is your battery? If it is more than four years old, you may want to replace it, even though it has been checked. BMW's seem to be very sensitive to battery problems.
