Are the All-Weather floor mats (not the liners) any better than the ones I have in my E90? They are always out of place & look awful...!

I bought the BMW OEM floor liners and they come with the Velcro disk. The driver side already had the disks so I just added them to the passenger side. They look great with the Xdrive logo and stay in place.

Yes, BMW did a great job here. My E90 All Weather mats were always sloppy, always akimbo.

The ones in the F30 not only have a much better Velcro system, but they are form-fitted now, they have lips that snug the carpet, retain liquid, and never slide out of place. There is now pressure/tension of the mat lips against the walls and tunnel of the frame, so even if the Velcro weren't there, they'd still be held firmly in place. Sorry for the blurry photos above, but you can see the lips riding up on the sides clearly here.

The beige ones in Canada have a BMW logo instead of an xDrive logo, wonder why - a relative of mine just bought a F30 with the OEM Liners. Not bad at all, but I'm still on the fence. I like BJ's setup but we get a ton of snow here - my E90 has a few stains around the mats... So I might have to go with the liners as well.

Did you get BMW logos on the original floor mats in your 2013 F30? I did not, even though my 2009 E90 floor mats had logos. Sales rep says they don't do logos anymore. Is that right for everyone?

Mine came with BMW logos just like boltjaM3s photos show. I got the exact same ones. You can also just go into your BMW dealer and ask to see them before you buy them.

I've looked through the thread and I do not see any pictures of OEM floor mats, although I do see pictures of the all weather mats and those have the logo on them. Am I missing something here?

You mean liners or mats?

Need to know what you're referring to:

OEM Carpeted Mats (standard on F30)

OEM All Weather Mats (optional, heavyweight rubber, form fitted, 1/2" lip)

OEM Floor Liners (optional, heavyweight rubber, form fitted, deep-dish full protection)

OEM Carpeted Mats (standard on F30). I was told by the sales rep those were no longer available with the logo. Is this true?

To be honest, I haven't looked at my carpeted mats since I took delivery, I use the rubber all-weather mats all year long. Winter use is obvious, but my spring is full of muddy baseball cleats, my summer is full of sandy beach sandals, and my fall is full of dusty soccer kicks.

I have them in plastic in my garage, I'll check tonight.

If that's the case, would someone please take a picture of their mats in their car and post it here showing that? Thanks!

The liners have 4" side walls on 3 sides. They protect better. Sorry for the dirt, I shot this at night so the color matches better to the Dakota Beige carpet verses what the pictures show.

I checked in my garage and can confirm that indeed the mats are plain carpet.

Instead of a photo, just imagine a piece of carpet. That's plain.

Right, OK, that's what I have, too. Someone suggested only the lines got the logo and the non-lines got plain, but I know you got a line so if you got plain, then I know I didn't get gypped. Thanks.

The mats with the colored lines around them are an option you have to pay for- but most of us use the magic sentence and get them for free:

"My friend got a BMW last week and he said the dealer gave him the winter mats for free as a 'thank you' for his purchase. BMW will do the same for me, yes?"

Now, as I looked for images for you, I found a new mat that I haven't seen before.

The one on the left is the all-weather rubber mats (I have them, recommended, red trim for Sport line) and you've seen the other ones (the 'tub-like' liners not shown), but what's here on the right is a step-up carpeted mat that has a) color trim, b) a rubber heel pad, and c) the BMW logo. Haven't noticed these before, perhaps that's what you want instead of the all-weather ones.

BJ

I got no logo carpet mats with mine so I took the "1 year old" Coco Mats from my '07 535i that I traded in and made them fit the new 328i. For classic style and wearability check out the custom made : www.cocomats.com
I love mine.

A relative who just bought a F30 has those liners, but the xDrive logo has been replaced by a BMW logo. Ironically, it's in a 328i xDrive...

Would someone with a weathertech trunk liner/mat please post a photo? The WT website only shows a generic image, and I want to see what the difference is between the WT and BMW trunk mat.

I can deal with the red trim on the trunk mat, but IMO the red trim on the floor mats inside the car is the definition of tacky. Who the hell wants to highlight their floor mats? I want mine to disappear.

EDIT: Found a pic of the trunk mat. Please ignore my request.

Does anyone else with the OEM all-weather mats find the grooves by the gas pedal annoying? I feel like my heel is always getting caught going from braking to gas. I'm thinking about switching to the WeatherTech liners in front because of this. They don't look to have any grooves by the pedals.

Also, is there anyway to get free shipping on the weather tech site?
