3 flash coding X3 F25

I am new to coding and BMW. I have had some success in my first weekend of playing. Many thanks to TokenMaster and the many others who have posted useful information.

My wonderful Bimmer is now just that little bit nicer. Legal Disclaimers be gone!

The one thing I would like to change which I haven't been able to crack is changing the 3 flashes of the indicators to 4 or 5.

I have changed:
FRM 3050 BLINKZYKLEN_ANZAHL_TIPP werte=3
but it made no difference. Is there a second item that also needs changing?? I read something that suggested it might be related to profiles. Has anyone cracked this on an F25?

The other thing which I thought would be nice is the indicator display in the HUD.
I have tried:
HU_NBT 3001 HUD_TURNSIGNAL to aktiv
but again no change. ?? [Fixed - see below]

My only other gripe is the On Board Computer display that adds information at the bottom of the speedo dial (fuel economy, av speed etc). It is annoying having to cycle through 6 or 7 items. Surely the compass display could stay there all the time (configurable of course) and the date could be next to the time all the time. Then there would be only 4 items to scroll through. Maybe long pressing the button could go back one item?

And while I'm griping, in Australia we don't get speed limit information. Even a $300 GPS unit gives that (and road safety camera warnings :-) ), so it is a BIG loss on a luxury car . Sadly I suspect this can't be fixed with just coding, but if anyone knows otherwise PLEASE let us know. (I do have the KAFAS2 ECU)

Werte Value as follows for triple blink change value

0 = 1 Blinking
(1 = 2 Blinking)
2 = 3 Blinking
etc etc.

I haven't been able to get it working on my F25 as well. I don't think it works.

However, the turn indicator does work in the HUD, I can't recall the change(s), but I will take a look tonight, I have it documented. Just off the top of my head, it might be:

KOMBI-->BLINKER_HUD_ENABLE

Take a look
