Help w/ 650i hesitation and lack of smoothness
I recently purchased an 08 650i Convertible. It often times seems not to run very smoothly and hesitates a bit when running at slow speed. When driving on the freeway, it seems to run fine.
About 3 times in a month, it has had some obvious rough running and hesitation when first starting. The car has 42,000 miles. Any ideas? I thought about using some injector cleaner to see if that would help. There's no check engine light or any other warnings. Thanks. |

Thanks for the posts. I tried the tranny reset last night but wasn't sure I noticed any big change.
My issue is a bit intermittent. It's not always there but is at times. I'm not sure I understand the battery post. I'm not sure how that would affect my issue. |

Low voltage will act the car to act strange. If the battery is weak, the ECM will do a load shed so the major components get power. After the engine gets warm, the battery gets charged some to compensate for the low voltage. My guess is the only time you see this is early morning starts? |
