Hi Bimmerfester's, question I have some issues with my stereo. I know that the signal in 2003 330i is not always the greatest, but I dont think that this is the issue. when I am drivng my stereo fades in and out. When I hit a bump or bounce a little the signal is loud and clear, then fads again. It does it all the time. Does anyone have insight on this? I heard it is a part that needs to be replace then all will be ok, but do not know what that part is. so please if anyone know what that is it would be great to get the feed back.

All inputs? CD, am/fm, changer or iPod? If just FM, search on "stereo fade" and you'll learn about a TSB on the topic for the radio module in the trunk.

It is only AM and FM. I will look into what you mentioned.

Cool. There may also be an antenna issue. In the c-pillar, there are antenna amplifier(s) that might be on the fritz or have a connection issue, especially if the problem is related to bumps you encounter. Easy enough to take off and check out. Search web for "e46 c-pillar removal" or something like that.

OK I will. We replaced the Anten cable diversity NG a few weeks ago because it was broke on one end and not attached to Stereo. but this is different. you barley hear it and a little static then "BAM" loud and clear. Lol I just want to be able to listen to a stereo.
