Driver side door not unlocking the rest of doors

I have a 318ti (2000) and it doesn't have remote central locking.

The problem is when I unlock the driver side door with the key, it does not unlock the boot or passenger side door.

When I put the key in the ignition and switch on the electrics the boot and passenger side door will unlock.

If I unlock the passenger side door, it unlocks the boot, but not the driver side door.

Am I right in thinking the driver side actuator is broken or faulty?

Here's the wiring diagram. I'd look over the wiring at the door hinge. In my experience, it tends to get brittle, and the insulation breaks, causing all sorts of issues.
