Driver side door not unlocking the rest of doors
I have a 318ti (2000) and it doesn't have remote central locking.
The problem is when I unlock the driver side door with the key, it does not unlock the boot or passenger side door. When I put the key in the ignition and switch on the electrics the boot and passenger side door will unlock. If I unlock the passenger side door, it unlocks the boot, but not the driver side door. Am I right in thinking the driver side actuator is broken or faulty? Thanks. |

![]() Here's the wiring diagram. I'd look over the wiring at the door hinge. In my experience, it tends to get brittle, and the insulation breaks, causing all sorts of issues.
