Sel-leveling Headlamp Replacement

Any suggestions on how to replace the xenon headlight bulbs in our 2005 x5? Not even sure how to remove the headlamp assembly out of the vehicle....

Remove two 8mm screws at top mounting tabs of headlight.
Remove lower headlight trim piece; there is a mounting tab on the side near the grille; DONT BREAK IT.
Remove two 8mm screws holding headlight bracket to chassis (tape a socket onto a long 1/4" ratchet extension)
Remove two 8mm mounting screws holding headlight to mounting bracket.
Carefully wiggle headlight and mounting bracket free.

You dont need to remove the light to replace the bulb.
Remove the c-shaped clip holding the rubber bellows to the bulb housing.
Pull the bellows back.
Remove the three Torz screws holding the bulb surround; remove the surround
Unclip the lead from the bulb (1/8 turn).
Remove the bulb collar (1/8 turn).
R+R bulb. Do NOT touch the glass capsule.

ditto...instructions on how to "replace" the headlamp bulbs is in the owners manual. The entire headlight assembly doesn't need to be removed from the vehicle just to change a bulb.
