Logical updates. When I was pleading my case over the missing paddles, I argued profusely that they should have been standard (as originally advertised), with the option to delete them for those who don't want them. I can't imagine many will choose the 710 wheel.
Too bad some of us had to suffer before BMW got it right.

A/S tires on the MSport will sell well in northern climates. I saw a great looking msport at the dealer, and I would have taken that one but not with tires and rims that I need to swap out in the winter

If I was on the fence that statement would worry me, since prices are usually adjusted upwards. But it's kind of early in the model year to already change the pricing, unless the sales are that good? I guess one can always lock today's prices by placing an order.

@tim330i are you sure they're changing pricing?

I never said the pricing was changing. Just that we would have updating pricing and ordering guides to reflect the changes in options.

Ahhh, you guys got me worried. If BMW does decide to change pricing, is the moment the announcement makes it out, it's done, or do you have a day or two of grace time to work a deal with a dealer? I'm planning on ordering my X1 for ED in a few days but it Iooks like Nov 1st BMW iis starting a 'Happy New Year' special and I'm hoping it covers the X1 and works with ED.

Edit: looks like pricing will in fact change for all X1s - starting January, price increased by $150 (source: Ask-a-dealer forum)
