20" Beyern Bavaria wheels

20" Beyern Bavaria wheels + Toyo Proxes tires. Went with these wheels after few unsuccessful attempts to get OEM 214 and 336 from private sellers (specifics vary, but in a nutshell, huge waste of time) and a set of 300 replicas that were surprisingly good quality but the machined finish was just too shiny to my taste. Besides, both OEMs and replicas are heavy as hell, a switch from 18" adds 15...20+ lb PER CORNER.

So, started looking at lightweight forged options, but decent options started from $3.5K. Got positive feedback about Bavarias from a fellow /other forum/ member, tried to learn what "rotary forging" means exactly, and finally had them ordered from DTD (resulted in a separate ordeal that lasted several weeks and involved many extra steps). The wheels are light - I repeat, very light, 25.8 lb for 10.5, so the assembled 315 rear weighs 62 lb - compare to 73 lb for stock 18" (granted 18s had OEM RFTs, but still) or OEM 214 which is like 45 lb for the wheel alone.

Toyos do produce some weird noise at low speeds (I believe it's a common knowledge), but decent overall, haven't had a chance to try in wet/snow conditions though.
