When did Angel Eyes Change?

I am looking at 2 used X6's from afar. Both would require me to buy the car sight unseen. One is an '11 and the other is a '12.

Am I correct that the '12 would have HID Angel Eyes while the '11 has the older, yellowish ones?

Thanks,
