Noise from suspension or shocks?
Recently when the car has passengers or have some luggages in the trunk ( increased car weight) when I get in the driver seat and seat down I can hear sound coming from the bottom of the car, sounds like a door hinge that needs to be lubricated when opening. Does the suspension or shocks have to be lubricated or are there any worn items? Thanks

Back in the 'day', I used to have an 89 chevy Corsica that had some loose shocks. It had almost like a rattling sound when hitting bumps in the road. I believe I tightened the 3 or 4 bolts under the hood where the shocks are attached to the body. I haven't really looked that hard yet, but I have a 2004 525i that is having a slightly similar sound. Is it hard to tighten the shocks or is there alot of disassembling? It doesn't matter really because I'll probably attempt it anyways, I just want to know how much time to plan on for tightening them.
