Is this car a deal?

This car is being sold at a much lower price than I see usually here in the Bay Area, and it's a manual. I thought no manual 530s made it to the US, so isn't this a somewhat rare car? I also have not seen this green color either. Any thoughts?

thanks!

How did you find these? I've been scouring Craigslist for weeks didn't see any of these. In fact, I have never seen a manual 530i advertised ever.

You just saved me 500 dollars in shipping. I owe you one.

i just searched "530i manual" and didn't limit it to title only

i was looking for E39s for a long time on craigslist (about one year) before buying mine so i pretty much saw everything that was ever on sale

The ebay car looks to be extremely basic. I didn't realize that some of the options were available on the 530's as new features became standard since the e39 was introduced.

That car has the low cluster, cassette player, manual passenger seat (I didn't realize that was even an option in the US), broken cup holder, and missing radio display pixels. The driver's seat also looks to have much more wear that is typical for a 65k mile car.

Depends on the service history as well. Even though that is a low mileage E39, if the cooling system has not been done, it's a ticking time bomb.
