Wont start when hot outside

I recently just purchased my 1999 BMW 323i. It currently has about 130,000 miles on it. Ive recently noticed that when it is in the sun for a long time or extremely hot out my car wont start, nor will it even turn over but all of the lights in my car turn on just fine. if I wait 10 minutes or so it normally starts right away after that. This ONLY happens when it is in the sun and its very hot outside. In the mornings and at night it will start up right away with no problem. Also, after coming out of a full stop I have noticed that the car seems to stutter when accelerating. it will accelerate very slow and then kick into gear all of a sudden and then it will accelerate fine. This is driving me insane.

Not sure about the starting issue, but had similar hesitation when accelerating. Turned out to be fuel filter. Replaced. Was fine.

Yeah, this could be a fuel pressure issue. 50 psi when primed (key on) and when running. Could be a filter and/or pump. Autozone will loan pressure gauges and you can check it on the injector rail.
