There are those here who will recommend that you buy a coupe, which comes with a glass window...
On my roadster, I used the Diamondite Clear Plastic Vinyl System for Hand Application (available through various automotive detailing suppliers). It includes solutions for cleaning, polishing, and protecting. The results were pretty remarkable. |

I won't recommend buying a coupe, but why not just keep the top down? Isn't that the point of a convertable?

I've had excellent luck with Meguiers #10 and # 17 cleaner and polish for the last 30 years and many plastic rear windows.

Periodic polishing with Plexus inside and out will keep the window crystal clear and fog free.
Regular cleaning with Windex will yellow it fairly quickly. Invisible Glass is good for regular cleaning.

Rear window polish works like a champ, but any advice for the moulding around the plastic window? Mine is cracking and coming apart?

I use Plexus once every 3 months - 2002 Z3 2.5 Dakar Roadster garaged.
More often if kept outside. Fred |

Going to buy a new window with the larger trim. Anyone tried this one?
