New wheels question

Hi all.
Finally my tires are spent, front and rear. I have stock 19's and thought of replacing the tires with Continentals. After shopping around on Tirerack.com and such sites, I've come to realization that the 20's are cheaper... so I found some wheels and tires in 20" for the same price as just 19" tires...
Now the question is, if the 20's are 20x8.5 (both front and rear) with 15mm offset, will they fit on my car? Would I have to get 15mm spacers?
(Please excuse my ignorance in regards to offsets, etc.)
I know that the stock wheels are 19x8.5 (front) and 19x9.5 (rear). Would it really make any difference if I went 20x8.5 both front and rear? Would the car look funny?
Please advice.
Thank you

Well, I got some 22's and they shake over 70mph! Asked the wheel place to balance it 3 times - same shake. At first they installed the hubcentric plastic rings (to center the wheels) and that helped, but over 70mph it's still shakes a little.
Any ideas?

I have replica M6 wheels with the hubcentric rings - what finally fixed the shakes was "on-car" high speed balancing done by Butler Tire... it fixed it now problem the last two years.

Here are the specs for the 121 wheels. You should be able to use the same size tires & wheels, with out much of a problem. Just make sure to calculate the tire diameter as close as possible, to avoid speed problems with the ECM. Some people do this for their winter wheels.

Ellipsoid spoke - style 121

8.5 x 19 Front ET 14
9 x 19 Rear ET 18
