Problem deleting music from previous owner

I just picked up a used E93 and am having trouble deleting the music from the prev owner. I have read the owner's manual and tried searching this forum, but maybe I am using the wrong terms.

Basically whereas the manual/other threads say to use the "OPTION" button to pop out the split screen into letting you "Delete Folder", my car doesn't have that option in the pop out menu. It only has CD/Multimedia -> Random as a check box option. Some pictures of the sequence I go through are attached.

Let me know if you guys know what the reason for this is. Thanks!

The problem is that your car is lying on its side. Call a towtruck and have the car rolled over until it's back on its wheels.

Yes, I'm being snarky. But if you want help, please take the time to turn your images right side up so we can view them without injuring our necks.

Haha, I didn't even notice that when I posted. I'll re-post them tonight when I get home from work and back to my computer.

But still, the images are more a complement. Ultimately the OPTION button is not giving me the option to delete the music.

Are you using Option at the second level set of folders or only the top? I think it only works at the second layer.

TXFred: if you read BimmerFest on an iPad you can just turn the iPad and save your neck...

Thanks, but I've tried it at every level. Music folder & album names. I don't seem to be able to access individual song listings at all, so can't try that.
