Left license plate failure, Boot release failure
Hi,
New user. I hope you can help. I have a 2004 E60 530I SEDAN. Have got a left license plate light failure coming up when I start the car. Bought led lights but the problem is still there. My boot release will only open manually also. This all happened at the same time. After reading past threads, I checked the wiring loom that comes through the right hand side of the trunk and found that there were wires that had been repaired before. I checked this loom and repaired some wiring that looked suspect. The problems are still there. I can not release the boot using the button on the dash or the key remote. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
