Is The X5 50 Msport SAV better than Porsche GTS

Let the comparisons begin!.....

Better bang for the buck..GTS can go into the 100k plus range
Better exhaust Note on X although i just heard the Cayenne's on youtube. Very impressive!
More torque 450 to 380
More cargo space and leg room
Better off road, Gts is so low its like a car.

I drove by one the other day full throttle and the porsche guy had his window down.
His expression was priceless

The porsche is a great truck , i think ill test drive one so i can know officially know
Im sure it handles better than the X

Beautiful truck definitely a little jealous!

Both high performance all wheel drives vehicles are solid... I would be happy with either one of them.

I actually test drove the Cayenne GTS and Panamera GTS. I was leaning toward the Cayenne GTS when I compared it to the 5.0 with performance pack. However, when I realized that I could get an x5M for less than the Cayenne GTS that changed the scenario completely. I love the Cayenne GTS and I think it is better than the x5 in many ways. However, the x5M is the performance SUV bang for the buck and I voted with my wallet for that performance. Not to mention that I got about 10k off MSRP (including car club rebate) made the choice even easier.

I suspect most of you have checked out the X5M vs Cayenne Turbo thread. I posted this there and I suspect it applies here as well.

I went through this decision recently and went with the X5 M Sport with performance package. I drive a new 991 C2s so my decision wasn't based on brand loyalty but price vs performance. Both SUVs are great and beyond the competition and I guess everyone will make their own choice and between the two there is not a bad choice.

I don't even see the X5 and the Cayenne as the same level. The Cayenne can perform admirably both on-road and off. The X5 only does on-road. The amount of luxury in the Cayenne also surpasses the X5.
