coolant issues

Whats up.. my car was overheating therefore I replaced the water pump, thermostat, and temp senor. Which in turn fixed the overheating. But now my cars is drinking coolant. I had to top it off twice since eliminating the previous problem, but on my last top off I've notice little browm particles. What is this and why....

Little brown OILY particles? or like rust particles?

It isn't rust and I wouldn't say it looked oily. It had a was more in a sense gummy or mushy

Ever used stop leak in your coolant system? Sounds like the culprit to me.

Unfortunately though, this could also be a blown head gasket. You need to do a compression test.

I'm new here and this might sound like a stupid question, but(here I go) after you changed out all your coolant parts, did you bleed the system properly? (Tip: You'll know if it's not properly bleed if your heater doesn't warm up.) I only say this because the same thing happened to me. My expansion tank cracked, so I changed it out. Filled it up without bleeding it and after running it for 5-10 minutes it said I needed coolant again. Filled it up again and AGAIN, on shut down, said it needed coolant. I started to panic because I thought I might of blown the head gasket. Anyways, If you did bleed the system properly, and your heater does work then it possibly sounds like a head gasket. How long did it overheat for?

You warped the head when you overheated it. The coolant is going out through the cylinders.
