I checked KBB.com, and a used price to buy from a dealer would be about 47-50k for a lightly optioned 750i.

I personally avoid first model year cars, but your money, buyer beware. Unless it was bought late 2008 as a 2009 model, you should still have a little warranty left. Id take it to a dealership and have them check it out.

As far as the transmission jerking, are you referring to your 650 coupe or a 7? I don't get that feeling at all from mine.

actually the asking price for the 750i im looking at is 50k with 27,000 miles.. full certified warranty.. the transmission jump is pertaining to the two 7s i drove.. an 09 and 10...almost as if the tranny was always searching for the right gear.. both otherwise an awesome ride... the acceleration for such an large car is mind blowing.. it blows my 6 series away.. thanks for the input

Just to give you a comparison, I just swapped my 09 750i (Alpine/Oyster) for another 09 750i CPO (Dark Graphite/Black, M Package, Nightvision, Premium sound, luxury seating, driver assistance package, comfort access) with 31k miles for $49k. This was in Northern California.

I recently traded in my 09 750Li with 11900 miles for a 1013 750lxi. I got 49K and the dealer is selllig the car for 57K. The car had premium wheels luxury seating, premium sound leather dash instrument panel etc.

Hope this helps as a comparison
