intermittent P0171 p0174non E39
I've got lean on bank 1 and 2 (p0171 and p0174) codes on my 2001 E39. I've read the posts on this. I've cleaned the MAF and I know most likely it points to a vacuum leak after the MAF. I searched and see nothing unusual. Hoses all seem pliable and properly seated. The one thing different about my problem is that it is INTERMITTENT. It seems to go off after driving about 20 miles or so. Then it comes on and I cannot relate it to any particular stressful driving. Sometimes just waiting at a light. Any suggestions?
