Where does this part go?

So I had a mechanic take my car (1995 530I) apart to put in a new clutch. He unbuttoned the exhaust, drive shaft swaybar and heat shield. Of course he was a flake and took off on me. I have the clutch, tranny, and slave back in. Drive shaft is back connected. Can anyone tell me where this piece goes? I'm clueless!!!! I think the motor is the m60b30 or M50b30 not sure. This might be the part that stumps all you experts!! I am not as experience in cars as most of you so please do not beat me up for lack of details.

Kind of looks like the mount bracket...

Looks like it should be easily visible where it goes. Have you tryied lining it up around the area? looking for bolt holes that match up?

Does it attaché to the mount bracket because I already put that piece back on.

see if it lines up to it. maybe its supposed to go between the bracket and tranny? maybe on the bottom of it? Pictures of the underside of your car would help also, maybe we can spot a place it belongs...

Also, when we're done figuring this out, We need to have a talk.

I think i see a 'Benzo CL in your garage...

I will take some pictures of the underside later. The benzo belongs to my uncle I am using space in his shop. Believe me no Benz here

95 E34 thanks for sending me that link!! I have found where it goes. The best part is that it mounts to the exhaust when I have yet to do. Glory lol.
