We really cannot compare our monthly payments because:

1) Our MSRP/selling price/residual/MF are different (5.0i vs Prem).
2) I using 7 MSDs to lower my MF.
3) I have total of $5,750 of incentives/rebates
4) Sales tax in NJ is 7%.

I started looking at Premium first and this is the best offer I received for the Premium:

MSRP: $61,995
Selling Price: $56,735 (without any incentives)
Residual: 57% (36 month/10K)
MF: 1.25
Monthly lease payment: $759 including tax (without any incentives)

She told me she was selling me the X5 Prem. $900 below their actual invoice. Here in NJ, they included MACO & training fee in their invoice.

I'm just trying to help. I do admit sponsors & members of bimmerfest have being very helpful since I joined back in 2006.

Wanted to update everyone... Final deal I received from an independent leasing company that deals directly with manufacturers fleet departments; yes, lease will be via BMWFS.

So really the sale price is like 58k before incentives? Not a very good deal.

Sale price was $55,795. Adjusted cap cost was $52,722.

$670 below invoice.

If this is not a good deal, I would be interested to know what you think is a good deal.

Again your "sale price" was not clear to me.

Sales price before incentives is 55,795?
Incentives are $3,750 so your cap cost should be $52,045. (Does not add up with yours numbers). But if you ad $670 back in you get very close to $52,722

Then you put down 2k (1st payment, Aq fee, registration I assume) so not even asking about that.

If its $670 below invoice before incentives then I stand corrected, but when the numbers don't add up, they don't add up?

I think the usual request is for a picture of the car or it didn't happen - not the name of the dealer or agent.

Shouldn't the depreciation be $18,368 - The difference between adjusted cap cost and residual? Instead it's listed at $12,246.



Did you already get this deal? If you did that's great as I think they may have made an error in your favor and got you a sweet deal. Hopefully they don't come back realizing the error.

Yes.. payment was actually $665.46 per month, tax inclusive. The BMWCCA rebate for the X5 ($1,000) will cover the shipping costs.

Congrats on your new X5. I just received an email from BMWCCA and got approved for the BMWCCA rebate. Will received the check in 2 weeks from BMWNA.

Just one question about the $1K shipping costs. Is the leasing company charging you $1K for shipping the X5 from the dealer? May I ask what is the fee the leasing company is charging for this lease deal? Just trying to understand how those leasing companies make their profit. Thanks.

My guess is that the company makes money on volume and on financing internally (this deal went via BMWFS). I know They are tied in to major dealerships in the area somehow. They may be able to dump cars for dealers too.

My buddy got an Audi RS5 from them for below invoice. Most of the time the deals are good, but sometimes they are not. It just depends on timing, vehicles, and the customers flexibility.

Based on my talking with them, customer inflexibility is the greatest impediment to getting a good deal.

For example, I originally wanted cinnamon interior and convenience package. What was available (ie, in stock, no custom build) was oyster, convenience package, running boards, and BMW Apps.

I could have custom ordered the car, but would not have gotten the same deal. Come to think of it, I have never custom ordered a BMW.

665 a month, doesn't seem like a very good deal compared to the 2012 X5d deals for sept/oct
