coyote96 is correct. the "alerts" (open door, fasten seat belts, ect.) show up in HUD by default. I am not sure what the

MSA_VERFUEGBARANZEIGE_ENABLE = aktiv

does, but is not for those alerts.

FYI - in my MY 2013 F06 I did not have HU_NBT. I have HU_CIC and made the changes for DVD in Motion to VIDEO_NUR_MIT_HANDBREMSE.

I live in Lincoln, NE if anyone in the Midwest needs coding assistance.

I am not sure who is keeping the F10 Cheat Sheet up to date but there are a couple of items that I am testing out that we could include.

You get your Cell Phone Ringtone thought the Car when its connected via Bluetooth, instead on the default BMW Ringtone.

Here are the results of tonight's testing:

Set High Beam Assistant Default to Automatic - Worked
Seat Heater Memory - Set to Wert-Dauer (Remember forever) - Worked
Auto Dimming Mirrors Disable - Worked (I have tinted windows and it make visibility better with it off)
SMS/Email text length while driving - Set to whole text - Worked
Triple Turn Signal more than three blinks - FAILED
Sport Display - Worked
Added Power and Torque to the setting -> Language/Units screen - Worked (Can change values)
Digital tachometer and units - Cannot check the box but was able to change the units in the Language/Units screen - FAILED
xDrive Torque Distribution - Added the item but cannot select - Going to let the car sleep and try while driving - MAYBE
M View in HUD - Displayed in Information screen but was unable to check the setting - FAILED

I am surprised your Sport Display worked. What motor is in your 650ix GC? Is it the new N63tu?

Yes, it is the new motor. I was surprised it worked too because I don't think anyone with a 550 or 650 had it work.

I have been anxiously waiting for a N63tu to see if it would work.

The N63 motor in the 550i / 650i is an older motor design than the N55 motor used in the 535i / 640i, and I do not think it was originally designed to transmit the data signals, while the later developed N55 motor was. When they updated the N63 to the N63tu, they added them as I suspected they would.

I just double checked and bmwvin.com shows N63T for engine.

I am also trying the HUD items on the Cheat Sheet to see what works on mine.

I need to double check the Seat Heater I coded last night because it was not on this morning and should have been.

You will at the minimum need to buy an expensive FSC Code for SLI, and have it Imported and Activated in your HU_NBT before you can even begin testing.

Thank for the heads up on the SLI. Based on that news I switched gears to the HUD.

But while looking around in all the modules and found a couple that might look interesting:

Comment is:

Comment = time after switching off the optional clamp (see SA_Klemmen_FKT) within which a reconnection leads to the reactivation of the same options available seat heating, seat ventilation, massage and active seat in each of the last active stage (delivery condition is equivalent to 15 minutes)
0: (no wake) 0 minutes;
1: 15 minutes;
2: 24 hours;
3: infinity (always reactivate);

I have two different SA_MEMORY_ZEIT settings in different modules. One has the description you listed above and one does not. I am not connected to my car right now, just browsing CAFs offline. Here are the screen shots.

Yes, that is normal to have 2 SM (Seat Memory) modules, and the comments are different. In my F10 it is:

My assumption was always that it was front and rear, but I never went about proving it, so I don't know for sure.

I am confused on the speed limit info. I though the hud or driver assistance package on the 650 came standard with speed limit info. What am I missing?

SLI is part of the Driver Assistance Package (DAP) for the 640i and 650i, but HUD is only in the 650i DAP.

Maybe he has no DAP though?

With this ability to see voice commands, entertainment data, and phone calls/numbers, I think HUD is a must. It adds a whole new dimension to this accessory.
