Chicago land: Head gasket repair?
My wife's 2004 X3 3.0 (120K miles) is starting to consume coolant, no leaks that I noticed and is starting to run a bit rough at times on idle. I suppose those are signs of a head gasket issue. BMW service quoted me <4K for repair. Any experience / suggestions as to what would be the fair price and what service in the Chicago land area is recommended?
