Question Buy from BMW of Atlantic City post Sandy?

Eying a BMW @ BMW of Atlantic City. Just a tad skeptical about whether or not Sandy flooded them. Carfax comes in clean. Am I worrying too much or would the dealers be completely honest and get insurance involved in a situation like this? Granted, I'd tend to give them the benefit of any doubt because they are a legit dealer vs. a guy on the corner. Heard Atlantic City got hit hard. Not sure about flooding though.

If the vehicle had flood damage you would be able to tell. The vehicle would also most likely have a slue of electrical problems. Just make them put "all repairs due to possible water damage from Sandy" in the WE OWE.

Easy: Walk into a couple fast food or pizza places nearby and ask if they saw any flooding in that area.

You'd still want to inspect the vehicle and get something in writing from the dealer that the car had not been flooded.
