Radio Defaults to Satellite Preview Channel

My 2013 535i annoyingly defaults to the Sirius preview channel when starting the car after an hour or two of being off. Has anyone encountered this and is there a fix?

Usually it means you haven't activated the Sirius service. Even though you get the free year, you need to contact Sirius to start the service. Or, they need to re-send an activation signal to you. In fact, if you did already activate, you can log onto Xirius and send yourself a reactivation signal. Give them a call, their customer service is much better than most people report, at least in my experience.

Their customer service is the worst of any company I've ever dealt with. They are retarded.

In my experience, they will almost give away service for free. Every time I have contacted them to cancel service, they offer me a year at very little cost. Just an FYI, they have yet to call my bluffs.

I personally hate Sirius since they merged with XM. However my wife enjoys it, and I was able to get them down to $25 for 6 months. Hard to beat that.
