Help! '07 530xi with vibration

I have a vibration, I think in the rear, while I'm driving. It is very noticeable around 65 mph and I can hear a lumping noise when I'm going slow (think in a parking lot). Car has about 120K on it. I have rebalanced the tires and it doesn't go away or change. The right rear tire is showing some different wear patterns than the other 3 (all 4 tires were replaced at the same time).

I'm thinking I have a half shaft that is bad/failing, but how do you check those? What else should I be looking at?

Ended up being a bad tire that was causing problems with the Stability control system. Changed both rear tires and haven't had another problem.
