East Bay BMW - Pleasanton, Ca

I have an excellent experience picking up a Deep Sea Blue, Venetian Beige Leather, from East Bay BMW in N. Cal today with a 2 years 24Kmi lease

Premium, Tech, Cold Weather, Dynamic Handling, Rear view camera, park distance, Premium HiFi. MSRP: 65320 Invoice 60635 selling price at 60635, 7 MSDs

Drive off 4550 (MSDs) + 1290 (first month + registration + some misc mandatory fee)= 5840 (they allow max of $5000 charge on credit card).
Money factor: 0.00076 (after the MSD) ; Residual 73%
Monthly payment: 619.57 including 8.25% sales tax.

Jake Ekstrum, my CA (he is general sales manager), threw in a couple travel mugs and a set of all weather mats (The mugs and mats make my wife very happy.. The car make me very happy 8-). So we are one happy couple at the end 8-)). The whole buying experience was very smooth, locating the right car is the hardest part because of the special lease deal in December. Most of the light color interior 535 were gone by now.

All our negotiation are done using email which make it less stressful for me. The dealership was pretty busy (a good sign). We were there for about an hour + (mostly waiting for the finance manager, they have 2 of them but a lot of signing on a Saturday). While we were there, they have at least 4 negotiation going on, 6 or 7 signing and a couple of car delivery (a woman was screaming and running toward her new car with her husband and kids following her when she found out that the car was ready. The funny part is that we thought the one she got was our car when we first walk into the dealership a few minutes earlier 8-)).

Because of the shortage of 535 in the bay area, we had to locate cars from different dealers and did dealer swap. Initially we thought we have a white/oyster 535 ready from BMW Concord. But they put a hold on it since they had a deal pending. We wait for a day and then move on to the Deep sea Blue car from BMW Weatherford in Berkeley. The wait was unnerving. It took a couple hours after Jake placed the initial call before we know we had the car and another couple hours to physical get the car. Jake was very good in keeping me inform along the way.

All in all, it only took us 2 days to locate the car and complete the deal and I love the stress free experience. Thumb up for East Bay BMW and Jake.
