Hmmm... Tricky call. I'd sort of like the calendar to feature current cars, so if we continue to make a calendar each year, we will get a glimpse of what the E36 section looks like from year to year without featuring older content.

I can understand that, but in Joes defense Lola was beautiful, has numerous professional photographs to choose from, and was only sold pretty recently.

On the other hand, she was a 318 which pretty much negates all the positives. We don't really want to feature such slow cars in here.

I'll even drive up and shoot the photos myself for free! But someones gotta reimburse me for the camera when you shatter the lens.

I'm in for buying and submitting (assuming there are less than 12 submissions and we just need mediocre 4X4 filler )

We should also have a "shytty E36" calendar

Cool, you're in. I say the rule should be that if you've owned an E36 within the current calendar year (so, January 1st to now), it's eligible to submit.

They can be edited out easily.

Yeah, no watermarks/tags/advertisements/etc. Just a straight-up photo. We could maybe include a small bit of text on each photo identifying model, year, and owner.

Close-ups, detail, and interior photos are welcome if you feel it captures the essence of your E36. I had thought about some cool interior shots, myself, but then I remembered that I have a tan interior...

Not sure about the price of a 16 month calendar. I'll look into it.

I think a subtle blur would be best, photoshopping logos or text over it would make it look a little cheesy IMO.

I'm in for a purchase of a non-shytty E36 calendar.

Guys, don't worry if your car isn't in pristine condition. Not all interesting car photos feature show queens. I'd argue that most of what makes a compelling car photo is the composition of the photo itself, not the car. If you want to give it a go, take a nice/creative/compelling photo and it will be voted on with the rest of them. Let the people choose!

Okay, so just a few updates. The first one is that I've decided to open up photo submission to this thread (but don't post full-res photos here - see initial post on Page 1 (HERE) for instructions), and created a list of people committed to buying a copy. Also, I'm sure I've missed some people on that list. Please let me know if you want to be added or removed.
