Yeah, anyone who requested more than one calendar will receive theirs all in one shipment. It may make shipping cheaper, or maybe not. Shipping is by weight, so if you double the weight, postage will probably go up accordingly. We'll see.

I'm sure you must have it somewhere. Just lemme know after you've had the chance to look around for it. Thanks!

I've never used the other services but I'm down for whatever.

A few notes though - Amazon holds your funds for 14 days after the project is funded.

On top of Kickstarter 5% Amazon will take another 3%

Sort of like the voting, other people besides those involved could ostensibly purchase the calendar which would leave some people out.

Just some things to consider.

How about just using carrier pidgeons for sending the money?

I have a tier 3 racing pidgeon that can get to Karl in just a few days...

Too much risk of them pooping on the cash on the way there.

Yeah, I was curious about that. I'm considering trying to keep the Kickstarter private somehow, and then providing the link via PM only to those who have requested a calendar. One severely annoying aspect of that idea is that Bimmerfest requires 60 seconds between sending PMs, so it would take me around 50 minutes (at least) to send the link to everyone.

But yes, I'd like to keep the donation part private among us. I imagine I can figure out something for that.

Not really, it has no benefits over Paypal, does have several drawbacks like giving Karl our credit card numbers (not that we don't trust Karl), and costs more.

IMO Paypal or Kickstarter would be the way to go. I'd be fine with PP.

Yeah, I really don't want the burden of having to deal with people's credit card info, etc. The thing that's nice about Kickstarter over PayPal is that if for some reason things fall apart, everyone gets their money back right away, and I don't have to do anything. It's just like it never happened.

Anyway, unless anyone else has objections, I'm thinking Kickstarter will be the way we go for this.
