I'm in to buy a calendar. When-ish is the due date for pictures?

Cool, gotcha down CJ. As far as the due date goes, it's a tough call. We're kinda late on this, so although I'd like to get these calendars to people as close to the new year as possible, rushing it will cut into the amount of time allowed for people to submit cool photos. If I was to set the submission deadline at December 15th, and then allow a week for voting, that means I wouldn't be able to even begin putting everything together until December 22nd. It will likely take a few days to put it all together, then it will take a few days for the order to be processed and printed, then a few more days to be shipped back to me, then more time for me to ship the individual copies back out to everyone who placed an order. I guess I'd say that with a December 15th photo submission deadline, I'd say that everyone should expect to receive their copy sometime within the first half of January. Everything adds up and takes time...

Hmm. Yeah, we're definitely cutting it close. Maybe make the cut-off December 5th or 10th? I think that's still plenty of time.

Lets go with the 10th.

Count me in for purchasing one. Though my car is not pic-worthy.

I'm in, would beat the hell out of the calendars they give us at work.

^Highest resolution possible. Looking for original, uncompressed photos. But as far as submitting photos for voting, just use Photobucket, Flickr, etc. to post them in this thread as you normally would. Once we reach the submission deadline (December 10th), I will compile all submitted photos here into a voting system. Winners will be asked to provide the original full resolution image file at that time.

I'm in for calender purchase and a submission! Drove to where I wanted to shoot the car yesterday only to have the clouds descend and bring rain. Alas no photo and a very dirty car.
BTW was there a price for a 16 month yet? I'd be in on that too.

Nothing wrong with taking a photo of a car in the rain. I'll probably be in that boat... As far as the 16 month calendar idea, I'll get an answer later today.

Yes, we have to submit photos first. Once we get the photos compiled I will put out a noticed for payment submission. I want to know what we have on our hands before I start asking people to shell out money.

Yes, post your photo submission here in this thread as you would normally post a photo using photobucket, flickr, etc. We do not need full-res photos here at this point. I will compile the lower-res photos submitted here to make a voting system. Winners will be asked to provide the full resolution images after voting has closed.

It's all outlined in the first post on the first page.

Oh, also, to those who were interested, the printing company I found which offers the lowest rate does not offer a 16 month calendar option, so I think that's out.
