Thumbs up Thank you to all of you at Bimmerfest E46.

Last weekend I left the house maybe twice for a few hours. The rest of the time was spent on my car. That might seem like an incredulous amount of time, but this was my very first DIY experience so I took my time and analyzed things and was gentle rather than rough and quick like I've seen in a lot of videos.
I've done:

- Oil Change
- CA Filter and Engine Filter
- Replacement of both intake boots that had holes big enough for me to stick 2+ fingers through and apparently the clamps had been put on by a magician because the actual portion to unscrew them was nearly entirely up against the side of the car. I was forced to make some gumby-esque maneuvers with a small wrench to unscrew them.
- MAF Cleaning, Throttle Body Cleaning
- Spark plugs that had no anti-seize... lovely.
- Vacuum tube replacement
- Valve Cover Gasket replacement that was completely rock hard and shattered upon taking them off. Didn't know the extent of my oil leak due to my splash guards.. it was pretty bad.

But anyhow, I've got to be honest. I couldn't have done it without you guys. Much appreciated.

There is a wealth of information within these walls. I plan on doing some of the same.
