Hi,
Just recently found your Forums while on a google search ![]() I'm currently building my business: (Randall Technik Ltd. - The German Vehicle Parts Specialists). Looking at starting to trade on here, have various connections with some of the UK's biggest salvage yards and in turn can source some interesting parts! Three parts to the business, salvage parts, Alloy Wheels and New body panels (Insurance approved). I'm a VW enthusiast, but share a love for all German related Vehicles! Located in The UK - Wimborne, Dorset. Hopefully meet some of you soon, Cheers, Adam P.S. Your homepage came up with an advert for 'Mature Dating' with a 'Mature' women in a provocative position! Welcome, I'm new too. Goodluck with your business. Im not a BMW guy, or really a car guy to be honest. But I like cars, and I may be getting a BMW soon and I find this is a good place to go for some information.
So VW eh? You ever read Performance VW? In the US they sell the issues like the equivalent of like 15 pound each, damn exchange rate haha. |

Yeah I used to buy it when it was still 9.99 in the US (4.99 about in the UK), but i guess since you can now get a set of Autoglym products with a subscription, they upped the sale rate to the overseas buyers haha.
I was looking at a few 7 series cars, but can't justify the size of them(4200lbs+), and the amount of gas usage. I like them loads, but not as a primary vehicle. Looking at something lighter and with more power. Have you worked on any 4motion volkswagens over there? They don't make any AWD/4WD GTIs here except for the R32 model(which is not the VR6 engine I think). Someone said you can get the 1.8t or the VR6 in the 4motion package similar to how the SEAT Leon Cupra is. May have been misinformed here, it was over the internet haha. |

Oh and I would be interested in buying some UK market BMW wheels since it seems sometimes there are wheels only sold in certain locations. Was it 165 pounds for JUST postage, or for the wheels too? I was assuming just the cost of mailing, since if you sold wheels that cheap, didn't think you'd make much.

Yes it was just for the mailing/shipping £165 GBP. What wheels would be of interest to you? Have various ones at current being reconditioned! Here's one of our sets: http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-m...jx0IA.facebook Or the company page: http://www.facebook.com/RandallTechnik Let me know, Cheers

Something like these
![]() which is sort of funny because that style I usually see on VWs and not many BMWs haha or I really dig these ![]() I think these might be a re-manufactured version of factory wheels, but not the genuine ones. They look JUST like that though. |

WOW that is fantastically cheap. less than 2000 pounds for a 4motion vr6 is unheard of. You can't even get a 2000+ VR6 gti in the states for less than 5000USD (about 3500 GBP i think). That one even has the VAT prepaid for 6 months? AND has full service history? AND only 89k miles on the odometer? Unbelievable deal. That in the US, without the 4motion and just standard FWD would go for probably close to 4000GBP. They have the R32 mk4s here for about 6-7000GBP, but I can't find one in good nick. Always a flaw "The doors close fine and the engine runs great, but there is a baboon living in the hatch." or "I just put new tires on the car, but it's missing all the bulbs." I actually heard that a Mercedes CL500 sells for only about 5000GBP. They are definitely still over 10,000 here haha I have heard of some good turbo kits for the mk4 VR6 engines, as well as a multi-step launch control system. Someone had one on their 4motion 1.8T swap and said it was wicked. The 60ft was probably 0.1 seconds haha. Last edited by ÜbelGTI; 11-12-2012 at 11:59 PM. |

I've just picked up a very rare set of 14"x7 Mahle BBS 5x120's, thinking of refurbing them or sell on as they are.. Wow golf's are pritty expensive in the US compared to here, might be worth me breaking a 4 Motion and sending the parts over.. |

I have never seen a 4motion conversion here. I wouldnt think it'd be that hard since the bodies are the same. Guess it's just ECU, parts, and install. If someone can convert a 1.8T to 4motion in Britain, they could do it here too. Would probably shut those R32 guys up for a little haha.
