So I jumped in and bought a 328i - 6spd, M-sport, Nav, Black Sapphire.

Loving it so far. I've had every 3 series since the e30 and each has it's highs and lows compared to the others.

I love the new look of the F30 compared to the E90 (no offense). The de-Bangling has been effective.

Still adapting to the 4 cyl turbo vs. the traditional straight six that I loved so well. In particular, the turbo has made rev matching on downshifts a bit more complicated. Power is good though and turbo lag is very very mild compared to the A4s I've had and was looking at.

My only regret on the options is the lack of the xenon package - bought off the lot and took what they had. May upgrade the lights in the future.

One niggling complaint so far is that the head rests are huge and they block the view for the driver looking out the passenger side and block the view for folks in the back seat. A small price to pay...

Congrats, and welcome aboard.

Most of us are ex-E90 owners and agree with your comments, and the more you drive the car the more you'll notice the little things that weren't in the previous model.

Congrats,Enjoy. To get a little bit more vision put your head rests in the front seats flush to the seat backs thats what I did and it works very well. Its a 5 minute fix. Do a search. Good luck
cheers
