Can I have a BMW with a Maseratti interior? I just love the piping interior with the emblem contrast stitched into the headrest.

I have to say that the M5 Individual interior blows away the Maserati interior in terms of quality and luxury. Hopefully the new maserati will up the game. That said, you can special order contrast piping and contrast headrest emblem if you want. Will probably cost $5k for the piping and $2k for the emblem!

The non contrast headrest emblem looks pretty good too.

I think at +$100K I should not have to spend $10K more for an exclusive interior, especially in an true M-sport product.

Bwahaha, $100k doesn't go far anymore. Consider that a tarted up Accord stickers for almost $35k....

Certainly! Their interiors are a pretty nice step-up from the fivers, plus the concept of an AWD convertible has me intrigued.

I've had an M6 on order for about a month or so, was told no less than 60 days, no more than 90 days when I placed the order.

Because of some comments here from stealth and others, I took a hard look at the BMW Individual programs. They even have an iPad app that while very incomplete, gives you a much broader appreciation for what's possible than in the online 'build' tool. The comments about having to pay an extra 5-10K for a nice interior on a 100K car don't quite get it, even the standard interiors are damn good, but the options to suit it to your particular tastes or desires are much more comprehensive than at least I knew of.

Nothing really beats seeing, touching, feeling, etc., go drive what you're interested in, listen to that 'standard' stereo and see if you want to spend ~3,700 for the upgrade to B&O, take a look at the interior and see if you want to go extended, full or beyond with the leather, ... there are a lot of decisions, at least to me where money is not unlimited.

Yeah lol I just looked at it and I see nothing appealing about it... Most people who buy overly expensive seats do it because its appealing to them, the same way buying overly expensive audio additions is appealing to me. Also a majority of people spending 100k on the car aren't too worried about 3500 bucks.

I'll have to give you a plus in that the BMW exclusive interior is as nice as the Maserati. The Maserati interiors don't seem to hold up well.
