I have and always will be a huge fan of the longest running theatrical franchise: James Bond 007
Daniel Craig has pleasantly surprised me in this role. I was just thinking how nice (and nostalgic) it would be for the franchise to bring back (or create) "true iconic villains/henchmen" i.e. Jaws, Odd Job, Claw, etc like back in the day. That would be pretty EPIC!

Barf, might as well bring back Roga Mowah.

If they resurrect old villains that is a sure sign that they've given up on the franchise. Casino Royale was the best Bond film in decades, the second Craig movie was just OK.

I like bond movies for the first 2 hours, after that it's like anything, gets old.

It's Bond.... of course I'm there. The only thing better than Bond Marathon's on Thanksgiving is a new Bond movie.

The word "there" can appear as a pronoun, as in “over there". "Their" is a possessive pronoun. In a phrase like “Susan and Bill's car,” it could be used to to make a new phrase: “their car.” ”They're” is a contraction of “they are.” “They are” should always be able to replace “they're.” Extra credit: It's "I'm looking for an M3" not "I'm looking for a M3". |

Bond does need an upgrade in villans. With everything being so PC their pool of villans has shrunk to almost nil, and he is monogamous to boot. Some where Sean Connery is weeping. N4S

I actually like DC as Bond vs. the rest (SC, RM, etc). He brings Bond back to the raw form and no silly gadgets. CW39 here in Houston was running a Bond marathon and while watching it, I couldn't believe how tacky it was watching these "gadgets". I was young back then so I guess I was impressed but looking back, it really cheapened the Bond character.

This guys the best, by far. No BS, no camp, no smirking, no silly capture-a-spaceship nuke-fort-Knox redwire/bluewire crap. He's a hired assassin and acts like one. Nice to see a tough Bond. Believable in a role that never was.

The writers definitely did the franchise HUGE justice! Daniel Craig is right there with Connery and Moore. He's just more "human" than either of them. Which is a great thing. And what can I say about Javier... Dude is mastermind of a villain and a fantastic actor.

The movie was outstanding. Bardem was crazy awesome as a Bond villain. I can't wait to see what he does with the Gunslinger.
Daniel Craig is the best Bond, IMO. There will always be a nostalgia Sean Connery vote, but Craig is putting more depth and grit into the role than anyone before.

What an awesome movie. As a 007 nerd, it was awesome seeing how they had things from older movies.
The ending scene gave me chills. More specially, when 007 walks into the office and is introduced to Moneypenny. Then he walks into M's office, a very traditional office with leather covered walls, etc. This is exactly like older bond movies. example: back in the day ![]() It brought the series back to beginning. I can't wait for the next movie!
