Grill for 540 2002

Can I overpaint to black my original grill? It's silver.
What kind of spray should I use
Or shall I buy new one?
Thank you

Do a search here using the words "plasti-dip" grill...this is a much discussed topic. You can also search YouTube using the same search term.

As with all paint, PREP IS KEY. Paint doesnt stick to smooth or shiney surfaces, so rough it up with some light sandpaper, add a coat of primer and then a top coat. Many thin coats is better then one thick one. and adiquite dry time is very important. If you want to be able to peel it off later and have them stock again I say plasti dip is your friend.
