The body is rust free and can only find one little ding on the trunk. The interior is basically flawless, even the driver's seat is in fantastic shape. The vehicle has been a PA/MD vehicle (NY tags because I am in the military) its whole life and originally had a 7 year/100k warranty. I have all records. Here is what is great about this vehicle- in the last 10k miles, it's had all the usual items that go bad at 80-100k miles replaced, including an entire engine re-build. Take this into account when you look at others!!!!! Why the rebuild? The engine suffered damage on cylinder number 3 when part of the DISA valve broke off. Since the engine had to be opened up, I had them do a complete rebuild-now you basically have a new engine. New ignition coils, intake manifold, DISA valve (of course) Both front half axles were replaced for the all wheel drive system. Brakes still have 1/2 their life. The only two items I can think of that may need attention is the windshield has a couple of dings and two small cracks/hairlines-not in driver view but I don't know what inspection standards are. The other item is the passenger side tire pressure sensor makes the tire leak. I am having it looked at since I just had all sensors rebuilt. Last edited by jbhashem; 12-14-2012 at 06:42 AM. |
