Wow what a mess

I was intending to remove the inlet manifold to install some LPG injectors, and at the same time take a look at what was causing an oil leak from the top of the engine.
On removing the engine covers I found that the two pipes that go to the oil separator at the back of the inlet manifold had turned to mush so undaunted I proceeded to remove the inlet manifold and found 2 pipes under there that had also turned to mush. But they both fasten to an oil return pipe that is fastened to the back of the engine and to say the pipe clips were hard to get off was an understatement.
I even removed the wheel arch liner hoping to get at them that way.
Now Iíve just the pleasure of trying to get new pipes on and the clips tightened. Then drill and tap the manifold for the LPG injectors and replace the manifold and hopefully it wonít the drip oil on the drive and smell of oil when driving.

I have now replaced the oil pipes and fitted a new oil seperator valve and the crank case ventilation valve as well.
I have also fitted the spuds for the LPG injectors.
