Leak in the lower radiator hose
The dealer told me my lower hose is leaking and that's the cause of the low coolant light. They wanted $381.00 to replace it and I'm thinking I can do it for alot cheaper. Is there any tricks to this beside refilling the system with the BMW brand of coolant? Do I have to worry about air in the system? Is there a DIY guide to doing this on a 650 engine?

It should be very simple. Here are the coolant filling instructions. Self bleeding so no worries about air. The hose costs $36 for the lower and $72 for the upper at Tischer BMW.
