oil leak? possibly, underneath the car by filter?

Guys,

heres my situation..ive been experiencing a substantial amount of oil and cool leak...i decided to tackle my oil leak. So far, i have replaced my defective alternator bracket gasket. upon further inspection i came to a conclusion that my oil might be leaking from more places, due to the wide spread of oil allover my power steering pump, vacuum pump, oil pressure switch, e.t.c. I went ahead and ordered new gaskets for my vacuum pump. However, i noticed there seem to be a lot of oil underneath my car..my guess is, i might also have a leak somewhere underneath there. I dont know what that area is called, i attached some pics, could it just be leaked oil that managed to find its way from my vacuump/ alternator?


there seem to be a lot of oil around the plastic cover by the oil filter. is the there a gasket or something in that area that might be leaking? please check out the pics.. the first 3 pics shows my wide spread of oil accross..the last 3 pics shows the black plastic cover with leaked oil all around the edges..i stuck my finger in there to give you an idea of the amount of oil siting in the edges for the black plastic cover...is there a gasket or something in that area that might be leaking? thanks
