Office

Hi, I just picked up my 328xi last night, and am trying to get my email and text messages to display. I have an iPhone 4, and the contacts (not calendar) are available, but the screen on the car says "no messages".

Any thoughts? It's so frustrating!

I think only new incoming messages while the phone is paired will show up.

The idea I think is for you to be able to"safely" keep up with incoming messages, not to have the car become a full extension of your phone where you can see and browse through all messages. You should do that while parked (and in your phone).

Of course I could be wrong.

Yes, I have the tech package, and use it with the iPhone 4. Getting the iPhone 5 next week, I think.

Currently the iphone 4 or 5 will only receive text messages. Please see this thread and you will find all the information you need to set this up.
