Auto transmission Help!
Hi to all.
I own a 1999 328i convertible e36 with an automatic transmission, 4L30E. A few days ago it went into limp mode with the yellow dash light on (Sun with the ! in the middle). i turned the car off and back on and all was good. Then today it happened again, so I went to my local shop and had it scanned. came out as 64 Speed Monitoring, and 6F Converter lockup clutch/speed monitoring. Any ideas as to what this is? |
clutches are slipping, you got to check fluid level. Car has to be on the lift with engine on. If the fluid level check OK then transmission clutches are worn out
