Identify the part by pic
I was sent a wrong oil pan gasket. I ordered one for M62TU, but received this (you can see old M62 oil pan gasket too):
![]() The vendor already sending the correct one and I also retain this gasket. Does anybody know what the engine is it for? Seems like it should be something 6-cyl inline, but it is definitely not M54 (and I assume not M52 too). Anybody? |

I may be wrong, but that looks exactly what I put in my M54.

I have replaced oil pan gasket on M54, it is steel:

you are correct. there must be earlier versions of this gasket that were fiber only

Yep. it is from M20 engine.
