E63 / E64 6 Series (2004 - 2010)
The E63/E64 BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations.

Will 09 650i Taillight fit into 04 645ci ??

This is a dumb question but, will it fit?

Is it as easy as plug and play?

are the back harness connectors the exact same? or will I need an additional harness connector?

This question was asked before but the previous thread was asked for an 06 650i... not 100% sure if anyone has tried it on a 04 645ci

Thanks.

EDIT: Since I'm at it, will the front turn signal of the 09 650i fit in the 04 645ci as well? thanks.

I've done it.

The 650 rear is plug and play and I'm pretty sure the 645 is too. You will get an error that needs to be coded out or you'll need to add a resistor so the car does not think there is a blown bulb.

The front is a different story. This needs a custom wiring harness. It's not hard or expensive, but if you can't solder or don't like soldering and diodes then this is not for you. Also you'll need to code or add resistors too.

Sweet, thanks.
