Lipsticked pig

Saw what I believed to be an ATS yesterday. Resembled something squashed w/chisled jaw.

Ug as a bug. Am I nuts or is it dimensionally porky? That ghastly grill + Cadillac logo....gotta go....yuck!

Sorry ATS lovers. Really, really sorry.

hmmm....I wouldn't call it porky. It does have a Bangle-butt trunk, but you have to look closely to see it. I wonder if you saw the new XTS full-size sedan. It looks very similar, but could be described as porky.

Do we really need another "ATS is ugly" thread?

If someone else started an "ATS is so much better than the F30" thread, he/she will be branded a troll. Double-standard is alive and well it seems.

I am not siding with either side, but I am getting tired of seeing ATS threads that don't add much value.

I am posting this one only to demonstrate the rear wheels are the same diameter as the front, I think you know what I mean

Opinions about the look of the cars do have value, just not a lot, because others can have entirely different taste. I agree there is too much chrome on ATS, both in and out. If GM offers a blacked out trim similar to the above, I think it will compete with the F30 M performance optioned very well. Unfortunately the above ATS is available only aftermarket.

OK, ATS not what I saw....that Ugbar Caddy had a much larger grill and of course wasn't necessarily new - might have been a XTS, though what I saw seemed to have a yet larger grill.

Sure was nasty. But not surprised I mighta got it wrong - pay no attention to Cadillac; still don't unless my very being is violated, as it was on that day....I felt dirty....

I personally think the ATS looks fine! More so from the front. It is certainly a major improvement on past day Cadillacs. If you ask most people BTW, BMW's are not exactly lookers either. But that's the point. The ATS and the 3 series should not compete on looks, but substance. If the whole ATS vs F30 thing were a popularity contest, it just might be won by Hyundai.

I think the ATS will grow on you, just like the f30 took some time to grow on me, and the e90 before that.

The bangle butt trunk that half the car makers incorporated into their car designs?

I have never been a big fan of the Cadillac's chisled look, but looking at pictures of the ATS and the F30 side by side, the ATS looks good in comparison.

The ATS is certainly more interesting overall; the F30 is bland and safe. The lower front of the ATS is vastly more coherent.

Y'know, much ado about Audi, year or two back. Now? Well....
