Talking Need more info to make purchase decision 2008 335xi

Been doing some research on the 2008 Bmw 335xi and can't find the info I'm looking for...perhaps some experts can respond

As far as I can tell the major problem is the HP fuel pump. Can't find any 2013/2014 info regarding if the recall actually works and the problem is solved?

I found some old posts of guys still having the fuel pump issue even after getting it replaced multiple times...has Bmw finally fixed it or is this an issue anyone with an N54 deals with constantly?

HPFP issue is a non issue. Upgraded part has been prime. Just see if they have the upgraded part in it. I have a 2009 that had the upgrade and no issues. I am also sure it's covered in the U.S. for a much longer period now. Worse comes to worse....I have a DIY with pics to replace it yourself.
