Just got myself a E46 !

I just got a 2003 BMW 325i with 198,000km. Automatic transmission.
Car runs great. Just needs some work.
My rear suspension is totally shot, rubs around, all over the place. My drivers HID doesn't work from time to time. In the morning pulling out my driveway, I hear a howling noise in the morning, when backing up, and when I brake hear and feel jerking.
Other then that great car. I haven't really into it much, but is the gas mileage of these cars and is the OBC accurate estimating KM to empty?

Glad you are happy with your purchase. Hope you got it very cheap as it will cost a lot to maintain with that mileage. If you're a capable mechanic, that will help, otherwise it will be very expensive.
The OBC us accurate, but my wife still ran out of gas once when it still read 54 miles left. I cannot believe anyone would routinely run that low as I fill up at 1/4 tank or shortly thereafter.
I give her hsit about it all the time.

Did you do a pre-purchase inspection at least on the rear subchassis area to make sure the sheet metal in the floor pan there is not tearing?
